THE pound US dollar exchange rate is holding just above $1.29, but remains dangerously close to slipping back to $1.28 as it did on Wednesday. The pound is holding its own against the US dollar and most of its other currency peers this morning, following reports that Theresa May was able to ‘win over’ her critics at a 1922 Committee meeting on Wednesday.
