China urges calm over crypto ‘endorsement’

Beijing has warned bitcoin investors throughout the world not to get carried away over China’s apparent support for cryptocurrency. Bitcoin went into overdrive last week after what appeared to be an endorsement of crypto by China’s president – Xi Jinping – when addressing a meeting with the political bureau of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee. -»
