Bitcoin is now officially suffering one of its worst weeks in almost a year as the price of the cryptocurrency tumbled below $8,000 last night. The amount of trading value lost between Monday morning and Friday afternoon stands at a staggering $40 billion lopped off the entire crypto market cap.
