Pound v euro: Exchange rate sheds gains on revived Brexit tensions



GBP/EUR opened this week at the level of €1.116 after seeing some big gains last week, but quickly dropped half a cent to €1.110 at the open. The latest drop has been caused by tensions between the UK and EU in Brexit talks, as well as some underwhelming UK data.
